A great blended malt which takes its name from the godfather of Japanese whisky making, Masataka Taketsuru. Masataka Taketsuru lived in Scotland from 1919 to 1920, working at many great distilleries, and returned to Japan with a Scottish wife and notebooks overflowing with notes. This whisky has gone on to win many awards and serve as a fine testament to the man who is credited with bringing whisky to Japan.
