Ive been very fortuante to come across a number of old bottlings threw the auctions. This is certainly another phenominal old bottle. From Henry Downes and Co one of the Oldest pubs in Waterford. This is a 10 year old bottling from John Jameson and Sons bottled by Henry Downes. The fill level of the liquid is half way up the shoulder of the bottle and the glass bears no makers marks or volume statements. I would say its another hand blown bottles as there are a few blemishes in the glass itself, what appear to be air bubbles. They can be seen in the photos. This is a real piece of irish whiskey history.
