The Flames of the Phoenix is an appropriate theme for the 2022 Special Release bottling of Lagavulin, as it was designed to be the most phenolic Lagavulin yet. Meaning it will be theirmost peaty release yet. The vigin oak used in its maturation give a great spice note with the american oak refil casks to round it out.
