The highly anticipated fourth release of the small batch single pot still whiskey from Dingle Disitillery. Matured in a combination of Bourbon and Oloroso casks resulting in complex whiskey with rush of spice and deep richness. Tones of dark fruits and figs are followed by dark chocolate with a sprinkling of roasted, chopped nuts. The chocolate gives way to returning spice of soft wood and leather notes which glide you into a long, memorable finish. Established in 2012, Dingle has quickly gained recognition for its exceptional spirits and commitment to traditional craftsmanship. The distillery focuses on producing small-batch, handcrafted whiskies that embody the rich heritage of Irish whiskey-making. Concentrating on Single Pot Still and Single Malt whiskey production the company has won many awards in the short time it has been operating, whilst garnering a multitude of followers who are keen to sample the excellent small-batch releases. Dingle has recently started to bring out some semi-permanent releases as part of the ‘Celtic Series’ with each of these celebrating the seasonal Celtic festivals such as Samhain, La le Bride and Bealtaine.
