Part of the four Greek wine cask series released by Mitchell & Son. This particular edition is a 10-year-old pot still whiskey that was finished in a 2008 Ex Ampeliastos Vintage wine cask for 8 months.Having been at the launch of these whiskeys it was great to get the chance to taste them. The notes they mention on the back only begin to explain this complexe whiskey. Certainly interesting to see Greek wine casks being used and I wonder will mpre brands try using them.
