Having been distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2021,it was released exclusively to the French market. This bottling has been aged in Jupille casks, a very obscure French oak barrel produced from the Jupille Forest near the Loire Valley. The wood is dense with a tight grain, with only 5,000 hectares of forest available compared to to the half million hectares dedicated to Limousin oak. It’s profile is said to impart pink rose vanilla. A truly unique Bushmills and a great addition to the causeway collection.
