The brand is named after the passenger ship that struck an iceberg and sank on the the way from Cobh in Cork to America in 1912. Over 1,500 people lost their lives. Lavery has also invested some of his growing fortune in the Crumlin Road Gaol, a Victorian era prison that housed paramilitary prisoners during the Troubles. He's turning it into a distillery. This whiskey is a bourbon-matured blend launched in 2013 and successfully made it to dry land.
