Distilled in 2000, this bottling is made from the 1999 harvest of Pays d’Auge apples grown at the Chateau’s small private orchard. The apples are left to naturally ferment, before being double distilled, and aged in an oak casks. They only bottle it when there is demand, which is very important with regard to the notion of “Millésime” (vintage). In this sense, Château du Breuil has chosen to market only the years worthy of great interest. This is the case for this year 2000.
