Reaching into a long tradition of innovation, VSOP Bourbon Cask Finish calvados is a blend of Calvados Pays d'Auge, aged in oak barrels in their cellars in Normandy, followed by a finishing period of 10 weeks in Bourbon casks. Calvados is almost never cask finished – usually aged in refill casks, or new French oak barrels – so this is certainly a more uniquebottling.
