A superb bottling from Glen Gyle Distillery, the sister operation to Springbank. This Kilkerran has been predominantly matured in ex-Bourbon barrels (96%) with another 4% being aged in ex-Madeira casks. A whisky that expresses the true character of the distillery with the malt spirit really shining through. There are flavours of citrus, vanilla, brine, pineapple and gentle smoke combined with some earthy, dunnage floor notes.
