This series was inspired by Killowen’s ancient Mourne Mountain home.This unique wood seasoning experiment combines killowens historic mashbill poitín with five distinctive beers from Ireland’s original Cúige provinces. Created in collaboration with Mescan Brewery from Connaught, Whitewater Brewery from Ulster, O Brother Brewery from Leinster, Dead Centre Brewery from Meath & West Kerry Brewery from Munster. The mashbills is made up of 50% Peated Barley, 21.6% Un-malted, 14.2% Oat (malted & peat-smoked onsite), 7.1% Wheat, 7.1% Rye
