Midleton 25 Years Old Exclusive Bottling Bottled For Heinemann 1996 is a rare bottling of Midleton Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey, drawn from a single hand-selected cask and bottled exclusively for duty free store Heinemann. The whiskey was distilled in April 1996 and matured for 25 years in virgin American oak cask #28803, before being bottled at 57.2%. The Midleton Distillery was built after John Power & Son, John Jameson & Son and the Cork Distilleries Company (which owned the Old Midleton distillery at the time) merged to form the Irish Distillers Group in 1966. Since 1975, all their brands have been made at the new distillery. One of 153 bottles.
