Killowen have cemented themselves in the single malt scene after extensively exploring blending and finishing in their Bonded Experimental Series. This proudly sourced, small batch single malt whiskey is a playful nod to the casks used: Killowen Dark Rum & PX Sherry casks. On the palate, expect the same sweet and juicy large green apples along with dark sugar as before, except that now the whiskey has spent a bit longer in PX Sherry & Killowen rum to give a slightly different flavour. Expect a more developed range of dried fruits such as raisins, sultanas & figs. All of this with heavy old-style dark rum as a backdrop and a late arrival to the tropical Caribbean, with coconut and vanilla molasses.
