Following the dramatic success and sellout of the first commercial bottlings from Waterford Whisky, This is the second of one of two new bottlings. Proudly utilising 100% demonstrably Irish-grown barley from one farm, one terroir, at a time.Waterford Lakefield 1.1 is the first edition made using barely grown at the Lakefield Farm, east of Durrow, Co. Laois. Farmed by Seamus Duggan – winner of Waterford's Barley Grower of the Year Trophy for his 2019 barley crop. Derived from limestone & sandstone these well-drained, deep loam soils of the Elton series consistently produce exceptional barley quality.
