Otherwise known as the original Moutai, this Chinese spirit is quite fruity on the nose with aromas of orchard fruit which follow through onto the palate with a slight herbaceous note. Fives years after the process has begun the spirit is ready for release into the market. For Westerners it may come as a surprise that Baijiu is the biggest selling spirit in the world and Kweichow Moutai is correspondingly the largest alcoholic drinks company in the world.
