Known as 'the Beast of Dufftown', Mortlach is distilled 2.81 times in a complicated process referred to as 'The Way'. This single malt, has been dubbed the 'Distiller's Dram', matured in a mixture of refill and first-fill American and European oak sherry casks. This was launched in 2018 as part of a new Mortlach Range and is said to be more balanced than the Flora and Fauna edition.
